William Mudget Obituary
Bill was born on March 8, 1934 in Dearborn, MI and adopted by Ernest and Mattie (Bloomfield) Mudget. On January 14, 1956 he married Darlene DeWyse in Davison, MI. He worked as a superintendent for the City of Flint from 1955 until he retired in 1980. Bill also served on the Mt. Morris City Council for many years.
He was a member of the Secord Eagles and was a big Trump supporter. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, boating, dancing, bowling, and racing motorcycles and snowmobiles.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Darlene Mudget of Alger; daughter, Kim (Dennis) Schriner of Clio, MI; sons, William Mudget Jr. of Alger and Mark Mudget of West Branch; grandchildren, Macie (Jody) Schriner, Jamie (Shawn) Schriner, Dani Davis, Summer Schriner, Andrea (Andy) Evancho, Gavin (Amanda) Schriner, Brandon (Tais) Mudget, and Dillen Mudget who was also his best buddy; great-grandchildren, Alex, Ayven, Elena, Asher; brother-in-law, John (Melinda) DeWyse of Burton; and many friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Cogswell.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at the Secord Eagles. Arrangements were handled by Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. www.steuernolmclaren.com. William Mudget Sr. Mudget Sr.
