Hudson Falls – Robert "Bob" L. Bulman, 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on June 24th, 1947, in Glens Falls, Bob was the son of the late James and Melba (Landry) Bulman.
He was a part of the Glens Falls High School class of 1966, while in high school, he played both football and basketball, he then went on to graduate from Adirondack Community College in 1971. He also pursued training as an Advanced Critical Care Technician.
Bob served in the United States Army from November of 1966 until November of 1972 in Germany. While in the Army, he earned the rank of SP 5 and received numerous accommodations, including the National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter Badge and Sharpshooter M-14 Badge.
He was a competitive speed skater and he enjoyed numerous hobbies including golfing, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with family having picnics and being around his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Professionally, Bob worked for Empire Ambulance as a Division Manager. Additionally, he was employed by Glens Falls Hospital in the ER and spent time working for Potters Funeral Home and Ambulance Service.
Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, James Bulman and Michael Bulman, as well as several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ellen B. Bulman, of Hudson Falls; his son, Robert G. (Michelle) Bulman of Glens Falls; and his daughter Cheryl (Michael) Criscione of Troy, his grandchildren, Kirstin, Nathaniel, Helga, Alexis and Robert as well as 5 step grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Sharon Smith, Maryellen Bulman, his brother, Terry (Laura) Bulman; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Bulman and Linda Bulman, his beloved aunt, Ann Oligny as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Funeral Services will be held privately for the family.
Family and friends are invited to call from 3pm – 6pm on Monday, September 1, 2025 at the Singleton Sullivan Potter Funeral Home, 407 Bay Road, Queensbury.
Burial with military honors will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National VA Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville.
