Dave Angell was one of those people that marked your life. I was so fortunate to be influenced and taught by him in my teen years. His joy of family, friends, art and the simple things in life and how to treat people with kindness, patience and compassion are lessons I have drawn from many times in my life. Dave was the kind of guy that would get you skiing lessons if he saw you falling on the slopes all day your first time. Dave was the kind of person that would teach you how to cook fidello. Dave was the kind of man that shared his pottery and stained glass creations with everyone. The best thing was his easy laugh and bright smile that he generously passed to everyone and being able to witness him being such a great husband and father. He was really in his element there and I know he will be so very missed but never forgotten by anyone.

I am saddened by the news of his passing. My career was jump started by his actions in 1979 and consequently changed my direction toward the future. He was a great person with a wonderful smile. May he RIP.

Aunt Martha, I’m so sorry to hear about Uncle Dave. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I have so many great memories with Uncle Dave and you all. The lazy Susan cupboard I used to play with when you lived on Carolina, going to play tennis on Sunday mornings, square dancing, and making tamales! I will cherish them always. Love, Ciss
