Harlan "Wayne" Toppin, 96, of Clear Lake, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Concord Care Center in Garner, Iowa.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2025, at Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 310 First Ave. North, Clear Lake, IA 50428. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at St. John Lutheran Church, 2406 260th Street, Garner, IA 50438, with Pastor Mark Lund officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, rural Garner. Memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church in Wayne's memory. Information online at www.colonialchapels.com.
