Jordan Beier peacefully passed away Jan. 14, 2015.
22 years ago we were blessed with a boy who would not only change his family's lives but literally the lives of everyone that had the privilege of meeting, knowing, laughing and loving life with him. Jordan's love of his family and friends is a value that came easy for him to share with all of us. He was always the first person that would encourage us to see the value in others ... as well as his comedic knack of always making us laugh in all circumstances. As Jordan grew from a beautiful baby (those curls!) to the amazing man he is today, his love, courage, compassion, humor and song has delighted our lives in countless blessings. Our family and friends send this message today with a heavy heart and also with the knowledge that he is proud of the life he shared with us and he would want us to live each day to the fullest like he did.
This is one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make on Jordan's behalf but as you know, Jordan always rallied and won the medical obstacles over the years and this time, he was confronted with challenges that could not be overcome.
He is survived by his parents Julia Beier and Mark Hubacher, Troy and Chris Levenhagen, his sister Courtney Levenhagen and brother-in-law Zach Columbo, sister Jona Levenhagen, brother Cameron Levenhagen, grandparents Mary and Maynard Olson, Bill and Nancy Levenhagen, Esther and John Hubacher, and Great-Grandma Marge Levenhagen.
There will be a memorial service on Jan. 24, 2015, at 1 p.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 100 First N.E., Mason City, IA 50401.
