Dear family of precious Kaydn I do not know your family but I just want to share how very sorry I am for your enormous loss. I cannot begin to imagine the aching in your hearts. She reminds me so much of my own little seven year old granddaughter Kayla right down to the missing teeth at this age. Please know you will see Kadyn again someday and then you will fully understand why this happened. Peace to all of you.

I used to work with your Grandma Barb and I remember how her face would light up whenever she would talk about you and your cousins. My heart is sad and heavy hearing of the loss of Kadyn. I got to know Kadyn when she came roller skating with the Tanks girls at our roller rink here in New Hampton. We also lost a child in an accident. May our 2 angels enjoy heaven together.

My daughter Gabby went to kids club with Kadyn they are the same age and got along well. Gabby is having a hard time grasping this tragedy. she is very sad and has been talking non-stop about Kadyn. She has mentioned sweet,pleasant,and fun memories with Kadyn. That is how your daughter will be remember. Thoughts and prayers from our family to yours

I am a 7th grader at northwood kensett high school.Kaydn was such a loving and caring person. I just don't know why this had to happened to her at this age. Best little girl ever. My thoughts and prayers go to you guys! She will be greatly missed. Love you all!

I am a sixth grade student at Northwood, and even though I didn't know Kadyn, it was heartbreaking to hear what happened. Our whole school has been effected, and we pray for the family everyday. We hope to honor her in some way at the elementary.

i can only imagine the pain and sorrow u are going through right now. Kaydn was such a sweet girl and will always be remembered for a sweet smile, (especially with the missing teeth) Kaydn will always be a part of u and know that she is looking over u as an angel in Heaven. We are so glad to get to be a part of Kaydn's life and only wish that we could have been more a part of it. As I look into Heaven I can see Kaydn with Great Aunt-Dodie chasing the puppies and he beautiful blond hair flowing in the gentle breeze. RIP Kaydn as we all love u and will miss u deeply. I also don't know your family personally, but have also shed tears over the loss of your little Kayden. I am from Manly and also have a 7 year old and can't even begin to imagine what your family is going through. I too got my 7 year old ready for school yesterday and headed off to work...just taking for granted that he would get there safely as most parents do everyday. There are not words to express the way your little girl has touched this small town in the seven years we were able to share with her. Her smile was so bright and she never passed up the chance to say hello to everyone she walked by. As a lifeguard, I will never forget her in those cute pink arm floaties- so brave!! Halvorson Family, I am so very sorry to hear about Kadyn. I do not know you all, but I use to live in Northwood and my heart goes out to you all. I lost a grandson, almost 3 years ago and it still hurts, but with family members and good friends, I was able to get on with my life. I can't imagine loosing a child.
