We will greatly miss Mark's love of riding and life. We always enjoyed our rides together as CMA'ers. The good news is we know we will be with him agin. We pray for peace and unity in the family. Don & PJ Swentik. Hiawatha, IA. Anamosa Joy Riders

Crystal and Kim, I never knew this was happening to one of my best freinds ever and now I feel even worse finding out this far after it happened, Mark and I had some of the best times ever and I can't think about high school with out thinking of Mark and the crazy things we did, this is truly a sad day in my life, I hope the best for you both, you have lost so much of your family at early ages, its just unfair.

Hello You do not know me but my husband and I are a part of CMA and have also lost our 18 yr old daughter in a motorcycle accident 3 yrs ago. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. He sounds like he was a terrific guy. I wanted to share with you about a grief support group called GriefShare that has helped my husband and I out so much. The pain and hole in my heart was so bad at the loss of our daughter we knew we needed help. If you feel so led, please look up griefshare.org to find out more information. We are happy our loved one is in heaven but the pain here on earth is almost unbearable - there is help out there. Blessings on a road you did not choose to travel.

Dear Crystal and Kim and your families,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this time. You have had to go through some tough times, and God will be with you through this time. You both are very strong and faithful, but don't be afraid to cry at times, too! Remember all the fun and happy times with Mark and your Mom and Dad....find comfort in God's peace. Please know I'm thinking and praying for you.......Love, Robin

I can still remember Mark in 4th grade. He was so full of life and joy! I'm sure he is looking down with that devilish grin, free from all the constraints of his disease. Heaven has one more angel keeping watch. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dear Crystal and Kim, I am so sad to hear of Mark's struggle. You have both lost so many so close to your hearts. I wish I could give you a warm hug and let you know that years apart do not lessen the bonds of friendship. Much love, Lisa (Young) Watts

Crystal & Kim - you have been in our thoughts & prayers over the past few weeks. It is so sad Mark was taken at such a young age -- diabetes is certainly a devastating disease. Keep your many warm memories close to your heart. Much love
