Paul E. Anderson
Paul E. Anderson Jr., 73, died Nov. 4, 2016, at Kansas City Hospice House after a 6 month struggle with lymphoma cancer. He was born Oct. 5, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Virginia Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Jean Anderson; three children, Derek (Kari) Anderson, and their children, Laura, Max, Ava, Rachel; Clint (Ingrid) Anderson, and their children, Miles and Henry; Carrie (Isaiah) Crabb, and their son Andrew.
Paul was a retired social worker with Iowa Department of Human Services for 39 years in Des Moines, Marshalltown, and Cedar Rapids, IA. Paul and Jean moved to Overland Park, Kansas, in 2007 to be near their family. A memorial service will be Nov. 18, 2016, 2 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, Overland Park, KS. Memorials may be given to Knox Presbyterian Church; Kansas City Hospice House; and Shawnee, KS Kiwanis Club.
