Judy Kiesser Obituary
Judy was born on October 21, 1950, to JC and Florence Adkerson in Mount Vernon, WA. She had two brothers, Larry and Don Adkerson.
Judy grew up mostly in the Skagit Valley area, living briefly in Oklahoma while she was very young. She attended Lyman Elementary and Sedro Woolley schools, spending one year at Mount Baker High, before returning to Sedro Woolley for high school graduation.
Judy married Rick Kiesser on August 22, 1970. She and Rick had two children, Corey Jay and Tracy Lynn Kiesser. They enjoyed raising their kids in Anacortes, close to family and friends. They were married 54 years, until Rick passed away in October of 2024.
Judy worked many different jobs when younger. In 1989 she graduated from Skagit Valley College and worked as a paralegal in private practice before working at the Skagit Co. prosecutor's office. She retired after 28 years.
Judy was a very faithful woman and attended Family Life Assembly in Anacortes her entire adult life. The way she lived her life with such grace and kindness, is a true reflection of her beliefs.
Her absolute pride and joy in her family was so apparent. She loved attending her grandkids sports and school events. Always a giver, she loved providing a good home cooked meal to celebrate each and every Birthday, Holiday, or milestone. Having her family close and together was a priority, as she was a natural "giver of goodness" and will never be forgotten.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, JC & Florence Adkerson, daughter Traci Kiesser, and husband Rick Kiesser.
Judy is survived by her son Corey (Tracy), brothers Larry (Terry) & Don Adkerson, brother-in-law Ron (Rachelle) Kiesser, grandsons Jay (LeAnne) & Juster Kiesser, great grandchildren Weston & Blakely, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that were all so special to her.
Funeral Services for Judy, precede with public viewing at Evans Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Her Memorial Service will be held, 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Family Life Assembly of God Church in Anacortes, with a reception following the service.
