Robert Meade Obituary
He was born in Los Angeles and raised on a ranch near Nevada City, CA. Bob attended the University of California at Berkely and the University of Washington graduating with a Forestry Degree. He spent many years sailing the oceans and later moved to Seattle.
Bob spent his last 40 years practicing forestry, landscaping, kayaking, and sailing, all of which he loved. Bob had many, many friends. His kindness to all and his concern for everyone was evident in all areas of his life. He was passionate about and took part in many causes, particularly food banks, helping immigrants, supporting surfing and oceanographic foundations and other environmental groups.
Respecting his wishes, his ashes will be scattered in the ocean.
For ALL friends, On Sunday, January 11, from 1 to 3, a "CELEBRATION OF LIFE" will be held at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island, WA and on Saturday, January 10, from 11 to noon, a " SAYING GOODBYE service" will be held at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church, 1318 East State Route 532, Camano Island, WA.
Come and help us pay our respects to this loving and beloved man.
