Sunni Dai Kircher Ausland Watterson

Chewelah, WA - Sunni Dai Kircher Ausland Watterson, 57, of Chewelah, Washington, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and grew up in the Chewelah and Valley area, where she formed deep roots that stayed with her throughout her life.

Sunni later moved to Anacortes, Washington, where she and husband Matt, raised their daughters and spent many meaningful years before she returned home to the Chewelah area. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Sunni loved the Lord and carried a strong faith that guided her through life's challenges.

She will be remembered for her encouraging spirit, her kindness, and her natural ability to lift others up - always offering support and compassion, even while facing her own battles.

She is survived by her father, Bob Kircher; daughters, Madeline Ausland and Cassandra Ausland; and granddaughter, Miley Marie. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Valerie Kircher, and Tristan and Vicki Kircher; as well as sisters, Hannah, Rayna, Miah, brother Joel, and by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandee Kircher; her high school sweetheart and first husband of 30 years, Matt; and her second husband, Dave, who brought joy back into her life.

Her time with us felt far too short, yet the impact she made will never fade. Sunni leaves behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and compassion - a legacy we will carry forward with us always.

A Memorial Service was held to honor her life on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 1pm at Crossroads Community Church, Valley, Washington.

Another Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1pm at Anacortes Christian Church, 1211 M Ave, Anacortes, WA.
