Whether enjoying a lunch, ballgame or road trip, Adrian was always great company. Quick to laugh and slow to anger: He was a kind-hearted and easy to like. He will be missed. Prayers to Toni and Adrian´s family and many friends.

Adrian was among talented writers at The Danville Register and Bee during that time period.I would have to say "those were the days" of talent incl Bonnie R Cooper, and he was missed.
Sympathies to family and friends.

The Schoolfield Community enjoyed Adrian's interest and books about our lives growing up in a "Mill Village"!
He was a talented writer and a gentle man who could walk into your home, sit down at the table, and we quickly became friends.
What a legacy he leaves to all who were blessed to know him.
My deepest sympathy to his family.

I remember Adrian when he worked in Danville, VA for the Register & Bee. I have an autographed copy of his book, signed when he participated in the Callands Festival shortly after his book was first published. Prayers and heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.

Adrian paid others the high compliment of listening to their stories. In those moments of recognition anyone felt interesting and accomplished. My thoughts are of a kind and perceptive man and I offer sympathy to his family for their loss.
