Glenn,

I just heard of Aunt Alice's death. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Aunt Alice was a beautiful lady. I know you will miss her. Mom passed away last year after living with us the last four years of her life. As she and your dad were very close, she shared memories of your mom and dad's courtship as well as the many pictures that were taken of you and I and our moms while our dads were off to serve our country during WWII. I am so sorry I didn't get to see you today to express my sympathy in person.

Sad to hear of Alice's passing. I was her neighbor for 15 years, knowing her for all of my childhood. She's was always very kind to me and I'll have lasting memories of her waiving from her kitchen window as I played in the backyard. My deepest condolences to her family.

Alice was a refined, southern lady. I enjoyed our conversations. When I stopped in to visit her dressed as Mrs Claus one year, we had such a nice visit....a memory I'll cherish. She was so very proud of her family. Thinking of you during this sad time.
