Almeda Younger Obituary
BALTIMORE, Md. - Mrs. Almeda Younger, 99, of Baltimore, Md. Formerly of Pittsylvania Co., Passed Friday Afternoon (12-05-08) in Baltimore, Md. Born Oct. 26, 1909 in Pittsylvania Co. she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Clark and was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Younger and a son, James M. Younger.
She was a member of Mt. Levanon Baptist Church and the American Baptist Women's organization in Baltimore, Md.
Mrs. Younger is survived by five daughters-Mary Watson, Gretna, Va, Marquerite Watson and Lillie Johnson of Baltimore, Md., Emma Younger and Fannie Younger of Patterson, NJ; two sons-Charlie Younger (Bertha) of Patterson, NJ and Boyd Younger of Baltimore, Md; 24 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.
The family is at the residence of her daughter, Mary Waton, 602 Payne St. Exit, Gretna, Va.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the chapel of Miller Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Larry Robertson with interment in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Miller Funeral Home, Gretna, is in charge of arrangements.
