Cheryl Biro Obituary
Born Aug. 5, 1986, in New Brunswick, N.J., she was the daughter of Deborah Bethune Biro and the late Ernest Charles Biro Jr.
She lived most of her life in Danville, and graduated from George Washington High School, class of 1995.
In addition to her mother, of the residence, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Minnie Bethune, of Danville; her paternal grandfather, Ernest C. Biro Sr., of Danville; a brother, Ernie Biro, of Danville; and a sister, Alicia B. Collins, of Waynesboro.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 26 at Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with the Rev. Fred Cox officiating.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 330 Stanley Drive.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Danville Life Saving Crew, 202 Christopher Lane, Danville, VA 24541.
Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

hey aunt Cheryl I know you can't answer the questions I have for you but I know you know that I love you so much and that I miss you-you would always play with me when I was a baby I remember the nickname you gave me as a baby I wish you could still be here with me and hug me tight when I am upset I love you sooo much, Cheryl I will see you one day again but for now please look down from the sky and watch over me, mom, Brittany, Brianna, Guma, Lulu, and my new puppy Bella and all of our family

It is sooo hard to believe that Cheryl is gone. I will always remember being great friends, growing up at Minnie and Paw Paw's together. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone. You have my deepest sympathy.

Debi and family, It has been a long time since I have actually been in touch with you all, I was Cheryl's brownie and girl scout leader many years ago. She will always be remembered as a very quiet, sweet and loving child. I saw her several times in Cold Stone and she still looked the same, sweet and loving. I will never forget the trip we took up the creek and she fell on every step so my son and myself carried her the rest of the trip on our back, Many fond memories. My God be with you all in these trying times. I can't imagine the pain your are going thru. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers

Our hearts go out to you in your time of loss. Cheryl is a beautiful soul who spread cheer just by her smile. We will always remember her and keep her and her family in our hearts. I was Cheryl's teacher at Global Village for 4 years. I not only had a student in Cheryl, but a friend as well. I have many fond memories of Cheryl and I will remember her always. To the family: my thoughts and prayers are with you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

I am very sorry to hear about Cheryl's passing. I met her about 7 years ago and knew then that she was not only a wonderful person but a terrific friend as well. I'm going to miss her dearly and I certainly know ya'll will to. I will keep ya'll in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I taught Cheryl at Bonner and remember her as a nice young lady. When I went to Langston to teach, I saw Cheryl again. I ran into her a couple of times since her graduation. I remember her telling me her plans for after graduation. Again I want to say that the family will be in my prayers.
