I'm so sorry to hear this news. I had very fond memories as a kid spending time with you all. One particular memory was visiting you in Springfield, I think. Playing in the pool. Fond childhood family memories. The last time was at Bernie's service. Time goes so fast. Much love to everyone.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I knew Danny when he lived on Northwest Blvd. in Danville. I lived on Ingram Street and we would get together as kids and play basketball in my backyard.
Sincere condolences.

Its beautiful when two very different paths cross at very different points in life and form a friendship. I've come to realize that true friends are rare. Enjoying the company of each other with respect and acceptance. All the laughter and banter form a bond, a bond that is real only when the respect and acceptance are present. I can't count the good times and laughs we shared, but with each memory I have my gratitude for our friendship grows. I'll miss our pointless talks and the deeper conversations of course. I think I took for granted your consistency and understanding. Not many people in this world actually care about the well being of others, I always knew you cared. Every visit, either minutes or hours we got to know each other better. Laughing at each other and teasing without ever a hint of condescension. I haven't crossed paths with many that I truly feel a real friendship with. I can hear you now saying damn girl, you're a trip. You will be missed and forever loved and remembered.

My heart broke when I read about Danny passing. I haven't seen Danny for more years than I want to admit. We met when we were about twelve. We played baseball for on the same teams for many years. I remember his dad helping to coach us, and meeting his sister Julie. I considered Danny and Julie to be very good friends. Danny came by my restaurant a couple times 15 to 20 years ago and we caught up some. He was a great guy and I hope to see him again one day.
