Darrell Lane Beverly

Darrell Lane Beverly of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the age of 89. He was born on August 20, 1931, to the late Grace Loyal Beverly and the late Norman Clarence Beverly in High Point, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Mary King Beverly.

Darrel was a member of Green Street Baptist Church in High Point and was a lover of antiques. He was the clinical director at Southern Virginia Mental Health Center prior to his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Brad Whichard, of Danville, Virginia; his grandson, Lane Wichard; and his cousin, Delores Beverly Charles of Conway, South Carolina.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Highland Burial Park with the Reverend John Lester officiating.
