David Robertson

November 29, 1946 - January 29, 2021

Mr. David Robertson, age 74, of Keeling, Va., passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021, at his residence.

He was born on November 29, 1946, in Danville, Va., to the late Hugh Harrison Robertson and Helen Hobbs Robertson.

Mr. Robertson was the owner/operator of Robertson Excavating and attended Church of God of Prophesy.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Milam Robertson of the residence; children, Karen Robertson (Harvey), Julie Purviance (Terry), David Robertson Jr., and John Robertson (Susan); grandchildren, Dylan Smoot (Hollie), Maegan Lewis, Deuce Smoot, Alexandria Smoot, Gavin Robertson, Caedence Hood, Johnny Robertson, Casie Robertson, and Jessica London; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Diane Hodnett, Connie Moran, Vickie Wilson (John), and Richard Robertson (Frieda).

In addition to his parents, Mr. Robertson was predeceased by his siblings, Henry Robertson and Margaret Custer.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at 2420 Birch Creek Road, Keeling, Va., with the Rev. Albert Moser officiating. The family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday, January 31, 2021, and Monday, February 1, 2021, at the residence 2420 Birch Creek Road, Keeling, Va.
