My mom, Mamie Jones was good friends with Dot. She always spoke highly of her. I´m sorry for your loss.

I remember back in the 50's when Dot worked at Kroger. We would go by to pick her up every Friday night at the end off her shift. We would buy food, go home and have peanut and banana sandwiches Because Dot was too tired to fix any supper. I always understood why because she had been standing for 8 hours ringing up food for others. No scanning back then as every item was manually input. She was the fastest that I ever saw. Dot was a hard worker.
