Eula Jones Worley

Eula Jones Worley, age 94 of Blairs, VA died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Roman Eagle Memorial Home in Danville. She was born on August 13, 1914, in Pittsylvania County, VA the daughter of the late Royal Mathis Jones and the late Della Shelton Jones

She was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church and was retired from Dan River Mills.

She was the wife of the late Littrell Douglas Worley, Sr.

Mrs. Worley is survived by one daughter, Kay W. Myers and her husband Wayne of Gordonsville, VA.; one son Doug Worley, Jr. and his wife Robin of Danville; one daughter-in-law, Patsy Worley of Cheshire, Mass.; one sister, Elsie Wigginton of Edenton, N.C.; five grandchildren, Littrell Myers, Jennifer Clatterbuck, Walter Worley, Lt. Kelsey Worley, and Kalli Worley, and five great grand daughters. She was predeceased by one son, John "Mack" Worley; two sisters, Ruby Chludzinski and Eunice Lund; one brother, Harry B. Jones.

Funeral services will be conducted at Oakland United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 2:30 PM with the Rev. Larry F. Mann officiating. Burial will be at Oakland United Methodist Church Cemetery, The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 7:00 PM till 8:00 PM and at other times will be at the residence of her son Doug Worley, Jr. 134 Wildhurst Lane, Danville, VA . Scott Funeral Home in Chatham is respectfully serving the Worley family.
