Felix Cobb Obituary
YANCEYVILLE, N.C. - Felix (F.L.) Lundsford Cobb Jr., 69, of 3878 NC Hwy 86 South, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004 at Danville Regional Medical Center.
Born in Caswell County, he was the son of the late Felix Lensey Cobb Sr. and Medjia Lundsford Cobb.
He was a lifetime tobacco farmer and a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church.
He was married to Ann Hancock Cobb, who died July 17, 1995.
He is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Cobb of Ocala, Fla.; two sons, Mark Cobb of NC Hwy 86 South, Yanceyville and Tim Cobb of NC Hwy 86 South; one sister, Judson Cagle of Greensboro; and 10 grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, one sister and one granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3 at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church with Charles Briggs and the Rev. Richard LaDew officiating.
The family will be at the residence, 3878 NC Hwy 86 South.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, c/o Tracie Coleman, 95 Mary Jane Bigelow Rd., Yanceyville, N.C. 27379.
Marley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

On behalf of the 1954 graduating class of Bartlett Yancey High School, I wish to express to F.L.'s family our deepest sympathy. He was a part of us, and his presence at our get-togethers and with those who were privileged to see him almost daily, will be sorely missed. As past president of the BYHS class of '54, I think I can speak for all in saying that we have lost a friend, a brother, and a pal. He will be remembered with fondness and will always have a special place in our hearts. Heaven is a richer place.....
