Jerome Junior "J.J." Hogan

Jerome Junior "J.J." Hogan passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 74. He was born on September 29, 1947, to the late Frances Moore Hogan and the late Romay Hogan in Danville, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Dreama Joyce Haymore Hogan.

J.J. was a member of Nor Dan Church of Christ. He worked for Corning Glass for 32 years prior to his retirement and was also the owner and operator of J.J. Hogan Towing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Todd Hogan (Patricia) of Chatham, Va., and Tony Hogan (April) of Danville, Va.; his brother, Michael Lee Hogan (Julie) of Danville, Va.; his sister, Frances "Ann" Durham (Ronnie) of Pelham, N.C.; his granddaughter, Lauren Hogan; and his special dog, Billy.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Norris Funeral Services' Mt. Hermon Chapel with Pastor Johnny Melton officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park.
