Juwon Albert Johns, our precious beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend departed this life suddenly on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at his residence. Juwon was born December 22, 1993, in Danville, Va., to Linda Coles and Albert Johns.At an early age Juwon accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saviour and was baptized in Jesus name and was a member of Greater United Church under the leadership of Bishop John Coles.Juwon was an active member of Cub Scouts and later advanced to Boy Scouts of America from 2001-2006. Juwon attended George Washington High School and graduated from Chatham High School in 2012. He also attended Danville Community College and worked at Ameri-staff and Wendy Acres Nursey.Juwon was outgoing, jovial and had a smile that could lighten the heart of others and make his mother laugh in the midst of it all. He also loved music, dancing, singing, sports, including the "Duke Blue Devils" and just life in general.Juwon leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother and step-father, Linda and Jarvis Coles of the home; his father, Albert Johns of Ringgold Va.; three brothers, Izaak (Lori) Jeffers of the home, Mario Jeffers of Milton N.C., and Antwoine Jones of Danville Va.; three sisters, Brittany Johns of Ringgold Va., Terra Wood of Duluca, Georgia, and LaKendra Jeffers of Milton, N.C.; maternal grandfather, James Thomas; five nephews, one niece, aunts, uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends; special friends, Ivey, Harmony, Javier, Nakiesse, Paige, Patrick, and many more. Juwon had three special pets, Macie, Hammie, and Spike. Juwon was pre-deceased by his maternal grandmother, Marie Thomas; and paternal grandparents, Ruth Coleman and McKinley Johns.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at 3 p.m. from Greater United Apostolic Church.Please keep the Johns Family in your prayers.
