Lydia Meadows Obituary
EDEN - Ms. Lydia Mae Meadows, 52, died July 4, 2008. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Springfield Baptist Church in Eden where she was a member. Burial will be in Eden Gardens Cemetery. She was a native of Henry County, VA and a former textile worker.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin Meadows and Stephanie Meadows, both of Eden; mother, Julia Meadows of Eden; father, Walter Adams (Loretta) of Baltimore, MD; brothers, Kenneth Meadows of Danville, Va., Tyrone Meadows of Eden, Kevin Adams and Joe Adams of Baltimore, MD; six sisters, Odessa Miller (Jerome), Gracie Adams and Frances Meadows, all of Eden, Martha Meadows of Winston-Salem, Karen Price (Shaun) of Georgia, Patricia Miller (Chris) of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Arrangements by Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Eden.
