Ms. Patsy White, age 74, of 308 White Rock Road, Danville, Virginia, departed this life on Friday morning, September 16, 2106, at Roman Eagle Nursing Home.Born September 14, 1942, in Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie J. White and Martha Stephens White.She was the owner and operator of Fashion Hats in Danville, Virginia and was a member of the New Mine Creek Primitive Baptist Church.Ms. White is survived by her son, Michael A. White of Brooklyn, New York; one sister, Jennett McIver (Julius) of Greensboro, North Carolina; one brother, Garland White (Iris) of Danville, Virginia; three nephews, Jerrick Robbins, Garland White, Jr., and Jerquan Robbins; one niece, Tanequa Ray; one aunt, Lottie Davis, and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside rites will be conducted on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Highland Burial Park by the Rev. Walter J. Coles.Miller Funeral Home, Gretna is in charge of the arrangements.
