SEMORA, NC - Randal Dylan Coleman 27, of Semora, died on Thursday July 17, 2025. Dylan was born on February 2, 1998 in Durham, NC. He is survived by his father, Randal Wilson Coleman (Kim) and mother, Rhonda Smithers, and his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Pruitt Smithers. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roger Lee Smithers, and paternal grandparents, Charlie and Hazel Coleman. In addition to his parents and grandmother he is survived by his step sister, Elizabeth Taylor; best friend, Jarrett Scott; uncles, Rodney Smithers (Kristi),Russell Smithers, and Stephen Coleman (Frances); as well as cousins, Carter Holt, Hudson Holt, Priscilla Holt, Caroline C. Darden (Ryan), and Daniel Coleman.

Dylan grew up enjoying hunting and fishing with his dad, and bowling in the local Roxboro league. He especially looked forward to summer vacations at the beach each year. He loved spending time with all of his grandparents who adored him. Even as a young man he could be found working with them in the garden, weaving baskets, helping at craft shows, as well as in the kitchen cooking and baking (especially at Christmas). He grew up attending Leasburg United Methodist Church and was also active at North Roxboro Church of God.

The funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2025 at Leasburg United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ray Pearce. Interment will follow in the Leasburg Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
