Robert Easley Obituary
Robert Allen "Pete" Easley, Jr., 69, of Pelham, NC passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Danville Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Easley was born June 6, 1942 to the late Robert Allen Easley, Sr. and Esther Green Easley. He was married to Debra Doolin Easley on August 18, 1979. He is also survived by a son, Robert Allen Easley, III of Pelham, NC; a sister, Josephine E. Mabe of Pelham, NC; numerous in-laws and many extended family, friends and his beloved punkin, "Maxie", his canine friend. He was predeceased by sister Mary E. Belch.
He retired from Corning Glass Works with 35 years of service. He was a member of Danville Elks Lodge #227 and Danville Bluegrass Association. He 21 attended Blessed Hope Church of Danville.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with the Reverend R.J. Barber, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hickory Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Pelham, NC.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 pm at the funeral home and at other times they will be at the residence.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am not sure if Mr. Easley is the same gentlemen that came into Porter's Groc. as I worked there,but if so he was a truly very nice man and friendly. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
