Sandra Parker Jennings passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 77, at her residence.
She was born on November 7, 1944, in Danville, Va., to the late Ethel White Parker and the late George Washington Parker. She was married to William "Bill" Henry Jennings, who survives, of the residence. Mrs. Jennings was of the Methodist faith. She worked for many years, prior to her retirement, as a manager of Sears.
In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by two sons, William Parker Jennings of Lynchburg, Va., and Tab Daniel Moore (Kimberly) of Mebane, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Grace Jennings, Addison Jennings, Lila Jennings, Tanner Moore, and Trevor Moore, as well as one great-grandson, Jonah Moore.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, Va. Following the visitation at the funeral home, a graveside service will be held at Highland Burial Park, Danville, Va., beginning shortly after 2 p.m. with Pastor Glenn Dillion officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Mt. Hermon Fire and Rescue, 4268 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540.
