Steven Bridges Obituary
Steven Michael Bridges, 29, of Danville passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at his residence. Born in Danville on July 14, 1991, he was the son of Michelle Curtis Bridges and Steven Thomas Bridges.
Michael was known for his love of the ocean and especially Nags Head in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. From sunrise until sunset you could find him walking the beaches collecting shells, out in the water surfing, and spending time with his family flying kites. Many in the community knew him from the skate park at Dan Daniel Memorial Park. Skateboarding became his refuge at a young age. Michael was known for his free spirit and that translated into every activity he poured his soul into. He worked for Virginia International Raceway and Mama Possum's Restaurant. His greatest passions included cooking, surfing, skateboarding, and being at VIR.

Steve and Michelle - You are in my thoughts and heart. The pain of 'human grief waves' is so real and I hope the time between those waves allow you to celebrate your memories.
