Thelma Farmer Echols, 89, of 300 Gray Street, Danville, Va., passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Danville, Va.
Born April 3, 1932 in Pittsylvania County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Fred Douglas Farmer and Mary Betts Farmer. She was married to the late Robert Echols.
The family will receive friends at the residence of her brother, Clyde Farmer, 160 Gardner Street, Danville, Va., masks are required.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight A. Bryant, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Kentuck Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Due to the constraints of public gathering during the COVID-19 pandemic, a viewing will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 5 until 8 p.m. from Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time, masks are required.
