Dear Joe, Jill, and Jim,

What a wonderful woman she was! When I was a little boy, Adele was always so kind to me, and she and Len always seemed to make an extra effort to pay attention to me. Later, they looked after Harriet and me when we first married and lived in the little house on High Street. Len would often drive by and then come over later and help me with some little household fix up job.

Adele always seemed so interested in what we were doing. We especially appreciated her interest in our daughters and the fact that she even convinced Jill to drive from NIU to Woodstock, Illinois to meet her new Korean cousin, Molly. Twenty-five years later, we were delighted that Adele and Len could attend Molly’s wedding in Indiana.

We’ll always treasure the memory of Adele’s generosity, thoughtfulness, sense of humor, and infectious laughter. Regretfully, we’ll be unable to attend the services but hope that you’ll keep us apprised of your families’ happenings in coming years.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Seems like everyone is loosing thier parents lately. I know it's part of life, but it's pretty hard to swallow!
