Annie, Jane, Jean and Robert, My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to all of you. I have fond memories of your family. Dr. Helms was the best vet we have ever had. He was so kind, compassionate and straightforward. Above all, he adored his family and was a good and honorable man. I wish you peace and comfort as you move through the loss of your dad.

My sincere condolences to Joe's family. I was very fortunate to work with Dr. Helms in the late 1970s. He was a great veterinarian, mentor and an even better person. I learned much from him early in my veterinary career that is still pertinent today. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Joe was such a nice man. I always enjoyed talking with him when he had his appointment at Ray's barber shop. He always had that cute little smile.
