Campbell Hill - Linda Sue Primas Ebers, 72, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 26, 2025, after fighting a courageous battle from several medical problems.
Linda was born on January 19, 1953, in Highland, IL, Joseph T. and Electa Marie (Flory) Primas. She married Gary W. Ebers on June 2, 1989, in Campbell Hill, IL. Linda was a graduate of Edwardsville High School and John A. Logan College. She was a retired Veterinarian Technician.
Linda was a Wildlife Rehabilitator in her earlier years, taking in all critters from Flying Squirrels to Deer. She volunteered at Middle Mississippi River Wildlife Refuge. Linda loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and taking care of her flowers. She loved horses and competed in Barrel Racing in her younger days.
Linda is survived by her husband, Gary Ebers of Campbell Hill, IL; her step children: Amy (Matt) Naile, Scott (Heather) Ebers, Todd (Jennifer) Ebers, Teresa (Brian) Donahue; her 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; her nieces: Terri Garber, Debbie Levora, Gayle (Primas) Michel; her nephews: Thomas (Buddy) Primas, Jeff (Kim) Mount; her aunt, Laverne Primas; several cousins; and her special little dogs: Rudy Eli and Ginger.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Shelli Onkle; a sister, Joanne Mount; a brother, Thomas V. Primas; a special nephew, Bart D. Mount; a great nephew, Kenny K. Levora; and her mother and father-in-law.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 1 p.m., at Calvary Cemetery, Campbell Hill, IL with Minister Debra Rathert officiating. Visitation will be at the cemetery, where friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
