Nora Frisse Obituary
She was born on Feb. 10, 1912, in Highland, the daughter of the late Herman and Lucinda Schmitt.
She married Clarence Frisse on May 5, 1938, in Highland. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12. 1990.
She is survived by two sons: Eldon Frisse and wife, Sally and Lester Frisse, all of Granite City; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Bertha Holtmann of Edwardsville and Lena Hess of Marine.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Henry Frisse; and two sisters: Amelia Schmitt and Frieda Henke.
Mrs. Frisse was a grafter of plants at Home Nursery in Edwardsville. Her memberships included St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville with Fr. John Corredato, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be at St. Boniface Cemetery in Edwardsville.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Boniface Athletic Fund.
