Ora Dell Berlemann
Edwardsville - Ora Dell Berlemann, age 87, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away at 8:15 am on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in Edwardsville. Dell was born October 9, 1933, in Iron City, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William & Helen V. (Haygood) Olive. On April 11, 1954, Dell married Robert E. "Tim" Berlemann in Memphis, TN. Tim preceded her in death on February 27, 1991. Dell is survived by a daughter; Marian Delanzo, of Edwardsville, IL; 5 grandchildren, Andrea Berlemann, of Hammond, LA, Adam Berlemann, of Edwardsville, IL, Anthony Delanzo, of Houston, TX, Shannon Knolhoff, of Fairview Heights, IL, and Austin Suhre, of Worden, IL; 5 great grandchildren, Henry Fletcher, Aliana Dionisio, Landen DeLay, Christian Semanek, and Braxton Knolhoff; and 2 sisters, Dot Wallace, of Marked Tree, AR, and Barbara Hindman, of Tyronza, AR. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Denise Stahlhut & Debra Suhre, and a brother, Jimmy Olive. Dell was a seamstress for many years at Auerbach and Ribbons & Roses. She enjoyed bowling and Card Club at the Main Street Community Center. Dell was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Edwardsville for many years and then became a member of the Lovejoy United Presbyterian Church in Wood River, IL. There will be no visitation or services, and she will be cremated according to her wishes. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. I am so sorry for your loss, Marian. Sending you love and healing. Your mother always made me feel like one of the family. I'll never forget her making biscuits with chocolate gravy as a treat for us and taking us all mushroom hunting.
