Alton - Shaun M. Rollberg, age 43, of Alton, IL, passed away at 11:42 am on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at his residence. Shaun was born on May 16, 1980, in Maryville, IL, the son of Steven Rollberg, of Alton, IL, and Heather G. (Sarver) Edwards & her husband Shawn, of Salem, IL. Besides his parents, Shaun is survived by a daughter, Victoria Rollberg; a sister, Brooke Schaetty & her husband Eric, of St. Louis, MO; a step-sister, Christal (Vaughn) Tate & husband Travis, of Seymour, TN; an uncle, Fletcher Sarver & wife Dawn, of Salem, IL; four aunts, Maureen Zagel, of Steamboat Springs, CO, Coleen Stapler, of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Tomlinson, of Richmond, VA, and Kathleen Holbrook, of Edwardsville, IL; three nieces, Clare & Ella Schaetty, and Isabella Tate; and a nephew, Liam Tate. Shaun was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Shaun attended Salem High School in Salem, IL. He enjoyed his cars and motorcycles, eventually becoming a mechanic. Shaun also enjoyed fishing. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Glen Carbon, IL. The family requests that a memorial donation be made to Shaun's family for Victoria's education fund.
