Donna Miller Obituary

SAN ANGELO Donna Miller, 73, passed peacefully while at her home and into the arms of her Heavenly Father. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way. Donna was born on July 9, 1938, to Alfred and Marrietta Fisher in Columbus, Ohio. She married the love of her life, Bill Miller on Nov. 1, 1952, and they shared 59 wonderful years together. They spent most of their marriage in and around San Angelo where they raised their family. She worked many years at Eden and Brady Nursing Homes as a CNA where she was very devoted to those she cared for. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A friend once said, "Donna could get along with the devil himself," and all those who knew her knew this to be true! She loved to cook and will always be remembered for her cooking. Donna also had a great love for life itself and she lived life each and every day to its fullest. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Donna is preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Wilburn Paul "Billy" Miller. Donna is survived by her husband Bill; children Rhea Draper and husband David of San Angelo, Tisha Anderson of Arizona, Rosemary "Candy" Campbell of Ohio, Brenda Vaughn and husband Kirk of San Angelo, James Miller and wife Vanessa of Coleman, Texas, C.J. Miller of Beaumont, Texas, Shelly Wood of San Angelo, Roxy Fults and husband Jason of Brownwood and Mabel Miller of Brady; daughter-in-law Cindy Miller of Skidmore, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to TLC In Homecare and Vista Care Hospice for their love and care.
