Eloisa Sanchez, 62, of Sterling City passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at home surround by her husband and son, Fernando II. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2018 at La Hermosa Baptist Church with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the church with burial to follow in Sterling City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Eloisa was born on August 5, 1955 in Guadalajara, Mexico to Jose and Irene Mendoza.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Mendoza Jimenez and sister, Silvia Mendoza.
Eloisa is survived by her husband, Fernando Sanchez; sons, Stacy Mendoza (Melissa) and Fernando Sanchez, II; daughters, Maribel Brahaney (Darrin) and Maira Grooman; grandchildren, Maliya, Adriano, Reese, Sienna, Luis, Alejandro and Antonio; mother, Irene Morales de Mendoza; siblings, Jose Mendoza, Elva Mendoza, Raul Mendoza, Alfonso Mendoza, Martin Mendoza, Maria Chavez, Emma Aldaba and Rafael Mendoza; and numerous nieces and nephews.
