Robert Lee
Marie Ross, 80, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016.
Visitation will be all day, Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at the funeral home with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, in Paint Creek Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Marie was born Jan. 11, 1935, to Francis and Willobee Hill in San Angelo, Texas. She was very family-oriented, her main focus in life was caring for her family especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John Michael (J.M.) Ross; daughter Debbie Conley; and daughter-in-law Roxie Ross.
Marie is survived by her son, Dennis Ross of Robert Lee; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
