MARK CAMPBELL Obituary
JUNCTION - Mark Campbell, 71, of Rosanky, Texas, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, in a Smithville hospital. Family visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Graham Funeral Home in Junction. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry Matthews officiating. Burial will be in the Junction Cemetery. Mr. Campbell was born Jan. 13, 1936, in Runnels County. He was a 1954 graduate of Ballinger High School and was very active in the registered Hereford cattle business with his brother, father and grandfather. He married Barbara Turbeville on Sept. 14, 1963, and they moved to Junction in 1976 to continue ranching. A retired master sergeant of the 49th Armored Division of the Texas National Guard, Mr. Campbell was also employed by AERT. Mark and Barbara moved to a ranch near Rosanky, Texas, in 1995, where he remained active in ranching until his death. Mr. Campbell is survived by his mother, Joyce Campbell of Ballinger; his wife, Barbara of Rosanky; one brother, Hugh M. Campbell III of San Angelo; three sons, Jonathan M. Campbell of Seguin, Ladd D. Campbell of Chandler, Ariz., and Rollin "Skip" Campbell of Houston; and six grandchildren, Megan, Courtney, Garrett, Alexa, Avery and Colby.
