MARTHA ASTON FIELDER

SAN ANGELO - Martha Aston Fielder was born in Farmersville, Texas, on Dec. 31, 1922, and died in San Angelo on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, at the First United Methodist Church in San Angelo. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 11, at IOOF Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas. Martha held two degrees from Texas Women's University and she retired as a librarian at Angelo State University. She was preceded in death by her husband, Park Burton Fielder; her son, Park Aston Fielder; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Alexander Aston; and her brothers, James, Joe, Hub and Paul Aston. She is survived by her grandson, William Chase Fielder; her sister, Trudy Aston Collier; and many loving relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Churches of San Angelo and Farmersville.
