Natividad Juarez Obituary

SAN ANGELO Natividad Luna Juarez (Nati), 83, passed on to her eternal life on Nov. 7, 2010. Nati was born on Christmas Day 1926 in Stockdale, Texas, to Manuel and Santos Luna. Family visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral service is at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson's Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. Nati met her love, Manuel Juarez and they married on April 24, 1954, in San Angelo, Texas. Together they raised their four children. Nati was a house wife and was very involved with their children's activities. Nati enjoyed having her yard sales and visiting with her friends who knew her as "Tia Nati" or Mrs. Juarez. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Robert and Ernest, grandson Lance and sisters Fela Prado and Espetacion Vasquez. She is survived by her only daughter, Florence and husband Frank Guzman of San Angelo; son Armando Juarez; grandchildren Farrah Guzman, Armando Juarez Jr., Lori Norris, Anthony Juarez, Ernest Juarez Jr., Zachary Juarez and Bailey Carr; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Maria Ybarra of San Antonio and Andrea Ramos and husband Manuel of Batesville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom battled many illnesses towards the end of her life but her spirit remained strong. She leaves us with memories we will treasure forever. The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors from Shannon Medical Center that provided exceptional care for her, Dr. Michael Cornell, Dr. John Coughlin, Dr. Scott Westmoreland, Dr. Dawn Gonzales and also the nursing staff at Shannon's Skilled Nursing Facility. Family and friends may sign the online register book at www.johnsons-funeralhome.com.
