Patsy Mayfield King

SAN ANGELO Patsy Mayfield King passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at the age of 78 in Baton Rouge, La. She was born May 3, 1931, in Talpa, Texas, grew up in Ozona and later moved to San Angelo. A retired hairdresser, Patsy was full of life, love, fun and laughter. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at Johnson's Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter, Helen West and her husband, Dan, of Baton Rouge; a son, Bill King and his wife, Zana, of Austin; a grandson, Hampton West of Baton Rouge; a granddaughter, Mackenzie West of Dallas; and sisters Dorothy Ratliff of San Angelo, Billye Joyce of Big Lake and Carolyn Mayfield of Palm Springs, Calif. Preceded in death by her former husband, Joe King; parents Ivy and Edna Mayfield; brother Bruce Mayfield; and sister LaVerne McDonald.
