Rosie Ann Martinez Rutledge also known as Sandy, 53, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2018, surrounded by her husband and children.
Prayer service will be said at 6:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel and funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Sandy was born October 6, 1965 in San Angelo and was raised by her mother Rosie Ann Martinez. Sandy was a loving Christian woman with a heart of gold. She cherished and adored her grandchildren who know her as Shomomo. Her heart was full of compassion and she would sacrifice all she had for the wants and needs of others. Anyone who knew Sandy will tell you that she had the most uplifting and welcoming spirit. Sandy stood strong in her faith, and trusted God's will and God's purpose for her life. Sandy spent her career as a CNA, caring for others.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Rutledge; a son, Nathan Martinez and wife Bridgette and their children, Lexee, Kenslee and Ellee all of San Angelo; a daughter, Erica Martinez and fiance Joseph Marmolejo and their children Elizabeth, Richard, Keilah, Joseph, Josiah and Zavien all of San Angelo; her youngest daughter; Stephanie Lee Ann Martinez of San Angelo; a brother, Joe Angel Martinez of San Angelo and sister, Melissa Ann Kelly of San Angelo.
Sandy would want you to know that she loves you, God is good, and she will always be with you.
