RUBY KOSIK Obituary
Ruby delia goetz kosik SAN ANGELO - Ruby Delia Goetz Kosik, 86, of San Angelo passed away Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, in a local nursing home after a long illness. Ruby was born Nov. 5, 1918, to Dick and Augusta Grosshans Goetz in Rowena. Ruby married R.W. "Bob" Kosik March 30, 1946; he preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1975. They farmed in Miles and Mereta, and she also worked in the Wall school cafeteria. She retired in 1987 and was on the board of directors of the Eola Community Center and treasurer of Eola Extension Homemakers Club. Ruby was confirmed in Miles Lutheran Church and later became a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church at Eola. Ruby played the organ and taught Sunday school for many years. Ruby had many hobbies, some including sewing, needlework, cooking and growing a beautiful flower garden. Her favorite pets were her dog and kitties. Ruby had many friends and relatives, some include Laurene Goetz, Marylyn and David Smith, Paul and Allison, Brad and Lauren Tonne, Melissa Durst, Christopher, Anthony and Kandice, Sharon and Danny Goetz, Chad Chase and Carson Goetz, Art and Gerri Goetz, Travis and Jamie, Ashley and Madison Goetz, Kerry and Gail Goetz, Tim and Dalanna Goetz, Justin Goetz, Correy Goetz, Travis, Cody, and Whitney Robertson, June and Jim Heinen, John Heinen, Alepsa and Brianna Goetz, Billy and Edwina Goetz, Robert and Deanna Fuessel, Joann and Keith Ellwanger, Ronald and Carmen Fuessel, Johanna Fuessel, Elvira and Richard Adams, Marcus and Missy Adams, Miranda McKenzie, Merissa, Michelle and Bobby Jacoby, Nacona, Tate and Eli, Robyn and Charles Leich, Dakota, Setson, Waylon, Doris Kosik, Alfred and Doris Kosik, Justin, Ronda, Nicholas, Amber Kosik, Kevin, McKenzie Clarnos, Grant, Jason and Tiffiney Portor, Austin, Nita and Leon Tieman, Wayne and Christina Psenick, Frieda Franks, Joy, Evelyn Pearse, Cristi, David, Walker, Morris Dean, Ann and Jennifer Hammock. Service will be at noon Thursday, Dec. 30, in the Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Baden officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will be nephews Robert Fuessel, Art Goetz, Danny Goetz, Kerry Goetz, Tim Goetz and Alfred Kosik. The family wishes to extend special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Shannon Medical Center and Baptist Memorials Hospital for all their loving care for our special aunt and sister-in-law. Thank you also goes out to the staff at Rio Concho Terrace and all the friends Ruby made there.

Our sympathy to the family of Ruby Kosik. She was a wonderful person. Sorry we can not be with you but will remember you in our prayers. Cousin Bertha Brokmeyer sends her condolences. Her health hinders her from coming to the service.
