Stanley Louder Obituary

STANTON Stanley Louder, 59, of Midland, died on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Stanton with the Rev. David Harp, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family received friends Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at the funeral home. Stanley was born on Nov. 26, 1951, in Big Spring, Texas, to Billy James and Leona Evelyn (Phillips) Louder. He grew up in Stanton and graduated from Stanton High School. He then attended college at Texas A&M University at College Station and Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas. Stanley was an accountant for both individuals and oil and gas companies. He lived for many years in San Angelo and then moved to Midland. Survivors include two sons, Justin Louder of Lubbock and Jarrett Louder of San Angelo; his father, Billy James Louder of Stanton; one brother, David Louder of College Station; three sisters, Luan Abernathy and husband Neal of Richardson, Rosalyn Hart and husband Joe of Lubbock and Lesa Neese and husband Michael of Bastrop; two uncles, Raymond Phillips and Marshall Louder; and two aunts, Linda Roberts and Lila Mackey, all of Stanon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Loena Phillips Louder; and his grandparents, Hub and Gladys Phillips and Raymond and Mattie Louder, all of Stanton. The family suggests memorials be made to the Hospice of San Angelo, Building Bridges Program, P.O. Box 471, San Angelo, Texas 76902. Arrangements under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton. Online condolences can be made at npwelch.com.
