Taylor Davis Obituary
San Angelo
Taylor Cole Davis, 25, of San Angelo, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016.
He was born in San Angelo on Oct. 26, 1990. Taylor graduated from Central High School. He worked in the restaurant industry as a cook at Zero One Alehouse, Mathis Field Caf? and Catfish Corner. Taylor had a passion for music, playing basketball, the L.A. Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys, as well as developing and perfecting his own unique and personal style.
He will be remembered for his big heart, beautiful smile, gorgeous blue eyes and always seeing the best in everyone. His absence leaves a big hole in our aching hearts.
Taylor is survived by his mother, Katina Emert and her fianc?, Sammy Prieto; sister Madison Jolliff and his brother-in-law, Adam; grandparents Nell and Dwain Welch and Jane and Edward Davis; uncle Leslie Welch and aunt Debbie Gambino; numerous cousins; and the family's lifelong friend, Moses Pe?a.
Family visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Johnson's Funeral Home. A celebration of Taylor's life is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 18, at Johnson Street Church of Christ with Tommy King officiating. Taylor will be laid to rest in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Taylor's honor to the Hatchery Sober House, 4431 Hatchery Rd, San Angelo, 76903.
Family and friends may share memories and photos, as well as sign the online guestbook at johnsons-funeralhome.com.

Prayers to your family tay. I'm so lucky to have been in your presence these last couple days. It wasn't very many of them but within those days you showed me how to be completely happy and at peace with the things life throws at me. Your free spirit and happiness about even the worst things have proven why God would want an optimistic angel like you at his side. Gonna miss you man. I'm sorry I'm not going to be able to make it to San Angelo, but I'll never forget all the good times we had in junior high, high school, church league bball and just plain kickin' it old school. The thing you taught me that I am most truly grateful for is that it's okay to be different. Actually, that it's better that way. "What's the fun in it if you're just the same like everyone else?" I've carried this with me from the day you helped me reach this epiphany henceforth. I'll definitely keep the fun stories and experiences with you alive, love you man.
