Mike Young Obituary

Mike Young January 10, 1945 - June 11, 2023 Mike "Bear" Young, 78, passed away Sunday June 11, 2023. Funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday June 14, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in Graham. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mike was born January 10, 1945 in Graham to the late Martha Annette (McCollum) Young and L.C. Young. Mike graduated from Graham High School and became involved in farming and ranching in Young County. Bear was also known as a real estate developer and owner several rent properties in Graham, including Bearville North of Graham.

Survivors include; wife, Darlene Young of Graham; daughters, Rachel McClelland and husband David of Southlake, Denishia Buchanan and husband Bryan of Crosbyton, Delisea Carter and husband Zach of Celina; sons, Jon Trey Young and wife Jennifer of Phoenix, AZ. and Frank Young of Graham; sister, Gretchen Smith and husband Sherrill of Graham; brother, Clint Young of Graham; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Bear was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Sylvia Newman and Jerry Young, son, Donny Morgan.

The Family ask that Memorials be given to Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department or LDS Church in Graham.
