Harold Crawford Rogers, 89 of the Sweetwater community in Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, surrounded by his family, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at Graham Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
He was a native of Graham County, and the son of the late Wayne and Ethel Randolph Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Karen Schronce; and great-niece, Amanda Schronce.

Harold's faith was something he held dearly. He was a lifelong member of Sweetwater Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for over 40 years and taught Sunday School.
His greatest pleasures were his family and being outdoors.

Burial followed the service at the Rice Cemetery, where Military Rites and Flag Presentation were conducted by the Carringer-Webster VFW Post No. 8635 and Eller-Rogers American Legion Post No. 192.
"Taps" was conducted by his grandson, Jeremy Adams.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Harold. One of my boyhood friends. His Farther taught us both how to drive a logging truck so we could get jobs as bus drivers. We both drove school buses the las t two years in school. We also tried our hands at cutting and selling locust fence post. I will remember him as a kind and gentle person.I am pleased that he was fortunate to live and raise ly his family in one of the prettiest spots in North Carolina. I lost touch with him when I left Graham county January 1, 1956 for an enlistment in the U S Navy. I never really returned to Graham county. I pray that he will have peace he well reserved.
