Jacob Lewis Obituary

Jacob James Sawyer Lewis, 44 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025.
Born on Nov. 10, 1980, he would have celebrated his 45th birthday this November.
Jacob was the beloved son of Donna Sawyer and Noel Jones, and James (Porkie) Lewis; the cherished nephew of Rita Sawyer and Lisa Millsaps; and the grandson of Dorthy Rogers. He was a devoted father to his two daughters, Olivia Lewis, whom he lovingly called his princess, and Kayli Lewis.
Gifted both academically and personally, Jacob often enjoyed sharing how he could excel in school even while making it look effortless.
He was known for his kindness, generosity and willingness to help anyone in need.
Jacob had a deep passion for cars; a fascination with knives and guns; and above all, a profound love for his family. He will be remembered as a loyal friend; a caring son; and most importantly, an extraordinary father.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. – noon, Thursday, Sept. 11, at Townson-Smith Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at noon.
The Rev. Jed Cable officiated. Burial followed the service at Lower Sawyers Creek Cemetery.
Jacob's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Townson Smith Funeral Home was honored to serve the Lewis family.
